Get ready for an amazing opportunity to showcase your artistic talents while exploring the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Xplore! Science Discovery Centre is delighted to announce a competition where you can win a visit from us to your school.

The theme of this competition is “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.” Create a captivating piece of art that reflects this theme and demonstrates a clear connection to STEM. Your artwork can be any size or format, including painting, sculpture, and digital art (excluding videos), let your imagination run wild!

Submit up to five entries from your school by the 7th of July, 2023. Entries will be judged based on meeting the theme, clear connection to STEM, and design and originality. One winning primary school and one winning secondary school will each receive a half-day visit from Xplore! Science Discovery Centre. It’s an incredible opportunity to enrich your school’s learning environment and inspire a deeper understanding of STEM disciplines.

Xplore! Science Discovery Centre has been serving and contributing to the Wrexham community for 20 years. Formerly known as Techniquest@NEWI, we were inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II in 2003. Today, we are located in the heart of Wrexham City Centre, offering a hub for scientific exploration and discovery and this competition is a further chance for us to engage with our local community.
