Welcome to Xplore! Based within the heart of Wrexham, our visitor centre provides a great space for all the family to enjoy. Admission includes access to over 85 interactive exhibits designed to challenge visitors’ understanding of science in a fun and educational way. Our current Public Show is: Superheroes!
Know before you book:
- We have booking slots available from 9.30, and you’re welcome to stay for as long as you’d like.
- Last admissions is at 14:30 with the centre finally closing at 16:30.
- Please make sure you select an adult ticket alongside any under-3s you book on!
NEW for 2026 Xplore! PLANETARIUM!:
- We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, fixed Planetarium in Wrexham City Centre, thanks to support from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF). Whether you’re fascinated by the night sky or just eager to explore something new, our planetarium shows bring the wonders of space to life for visitors of all ages.
- You can now add the Planetarium as an add-on to your General Admission ticket, or head to our events page to book a show on its own! The Planetarium will be open for visitors from Sunday, April 26th!
