Rocket Science KS3

The session focuses on what we need to launch a rocket. The workshop involves group discussion around what is a Spaceport and what should be considered when building a Spaceport.

Once we have established what is needed for a space port we then look at how to launch a rocket, the principles behind rocketry including the forces and formulas needed  and then have a go at launching on across the room. The session then looks at satellites and some of the uses they can be put to.
