Looking ahead to 2026/27, Xplore! will launch an exciting new workshop focused on ocean conservation. This fresh addition will dive into marine science topics such as ecosystems, pollution, and sustainability, while weaving in well-known faith stories like Jonah and the whale and the feeding of the 5,000. Through these connections, learners will explore big ideas around stewardship, responsibility, and caring for our planet.
Alongside this new offer, Xplore! will continue delivering its popular, established workshops to 24 schools across North Wales and England. Each one-hour session is hands-on, inclusive, and carefully tailored for Years 3–6, ensuring accessibility for learners with additional needs. Workshops will be delivered bilingually and designed to reach Welsh-medium, rural, and larger schools alike—bringing high-quality experiences to a wide range of communities.
This programme is all about making learning meaningful. By linking science with RVE in creative and engaging ways, it helps learners see the relevance of what they’re studying while encouraging thoughtful reflection on real-world issues. The new ocean conservation workshop also introduces a timely environmental focus, empowering young people to think critically about the future of our planet.
