Our dedicated Home Education Days are an opportunity for you to join us with your young people for a day of exciting activities.
Suitable for learners aged 5-14, this gives home educators special access to our exclusive programme of curriculum-linked workshops and shows. These sessions will enable young people to collaborate with their adults to achieve their own learning targets in a manner that suits their individual needs.

Discover the forces at work all around us. Enjoy an engaging science show that brings pushes, pulls and gravity to life, then dive into hands-on challenges: design a safe landing for an egg in our egg drop experiment, and build Lego racers to test on ramps. A day of creativity, problem-solving and science in action!
Know before your visit:
- Everyone who attends needs a ticket, including adults.
Children under 3 are free.
All children who attend the event must be supervised, and their adults must be present
If you intend to bring children under 5, please be aware that the activities may not be suitable. - Activities and workshops run from 9:30-14:30, but you are more than welcome to explore the exhibition after this time.
