🪸Expedition Reef
Dive beneath the waves and explore coral reefs, often called the rainforests of the sea. Discover the colourful creatures and fragile ecosystems beneath the ocean’s surface.
Recommended for ages 6 to 7 and over.
🚀Space Shapes and Sizing Up Space
Two space adventures in one show.
First, lift off in a rocket to discover whether planets and the Solar System are shaped more like a ball or a pancake. Then, find out just how enormous space really is, from the distance between Earth and the Sun to the light year.
Suitable for all ages.
Good to know – Planetarium:
- All visitors must have a ticket, including Annual Pass holders, wheelchair users, and carers. Babies in arms do not require a ticket.
- Planetarium Shows last around 30 minutes.
- Seating in the Planetarium is a mix of cinema-style seats and floor seating. Cinema-style seats are prioritised for adults.
- Prams cannot go into the Planetarium. Please leave them in the designated waiting area.
- Please arrive on time for your Planetarium Show. Late entry is not possible once the show has started.
- Missed sessions may be moved to the next available show, subject to availability. Refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances.
- Shows may include flashing lights, strobe effects and immersive motion.
- There are two wheelchair spaces per show. Please select the wheelchair-user planetarium add-on when booking.
Know before you book:
- Choose an arrival slot from 9.30 am and stay as long as you like.
- Last entry is at 2.30 pm. The centre closes at 4.30 pm.
- Please book at least one adult ticket with any under 3s.
- Planetarium tickets are not included in your Annual Pass
