RAF Youth STEM day for local schools

RAF Youth STEM want to inspire young people to continue studying STEM subjects to open up the opportunities for exciting and rewarding careers. Their extensive RAF Youth STEM Programme sees the HQ Youth STEM Team supported by STEM partners and RAF STEM Ambassadors deliver a wide range of free activities in school and the community each year across the UK and overseas.

They have also created fun and free STEM activities that can be downloaded for primary and secondary students to use in the classroom or at home. www.rafyouthstem.org.uk

As part of the STEM day at Xplore! the team have created a carousel of activities including a Flight Fantastic Show, a LEGO programming challenge; Mission to Titan, an engineering design challenge; Solar Power as well as spending some time with our interactive exhibits.
